What are your delivery services and charges?

We offer Free Delivery on all orders OVER £500. If below £500 then a charge of £39 will be applied. Once you have placed a order with us we will be in touch straight away with details on how long your furniture will take.

In general the majority of orders are delivered between 7 - 28 days. Please refrain from telephoning us until the full delivery time has passed. We will update you on any delivery that will be late.

When and how will my order be delivered?

We will contact you as soon as your furniture is available for delivery. You will be offered the next available delivery day based on your postcode. If this is not suitable the next available day will be offered. Most postcodes are serviced twice a week. A signature will be required from you at the time of delivery or a signed note collected.

The furniture will be delivered to the room of your choice by a two man team. Smaller items maybe delivered by a one man parcel courier.

Courier deliveries are between 9 am and 5 pm. If no one is in when they arrive they first contact your neighbours, failing that they will leave a card so you can arrange another day and there is no charge for this. Furniture will be placed in the first available space inside the home.

What happens if I’m out when you deliver?

We will always contact you to ensure that someone’s in to sign for the goods. If you do decide to go out then the delivery team will leave a card through your door and will re-arrange another delivery with you. This will result in an extra £39 cost being paid.

What happens if the furniture does not fit?

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the furniture they purchase can pass through the doorways, hallways, rooms and staircases to the room of their choice. In the event of restricted access the delivery staff will leave the goods at the nearest convenient point for the customer. It is your responsibility to ensure that any products you order will fit into the room or place for which the product is finally intended. Please ensure that you have measured the space required for this item.

Do you deliver overseas?

We only deliver to customer’s in the United Kingdom. Therefore we only accepted UK currency.

What do I do with the Packaging?

All packaging and waste is the responsibility of you the customer. We recommend the packaging to be recycled where possible. All local authorities have facilities for disposal of packaging materials.

Do you offer Flat Pack Assembly?

We do not offer a construction service for our flat-pack furniture. If you wish to have your flat-pack furniture assembled we recommend the service from ‘The Flat Pack Amigos‘. You can view their website at http://www.flatpackamigos.co.uk/. Please note they are a separate company to Raspys Furniture.com, we simply refer to them as some of our customers have come back with very positive feedback.

How do I assemble the wardrobes from your Solid Wooden Ranges?

All bedsides, chests, sideboards etc will be delivered assembled. They will be of solid wood construction and be dovetailed and tongue and grooved in design. HOWEVER, wardrobes are in sections I.e., top, bottom and sides etc. They are designed like this for ease of access to your home and rooms. You can either assemble them yourself or again ask the flat pack amigos, see above for details.

What do I do if the item of furniture is damaged on delivery?

Please inspect your furniture within 7 days. We will simply replace the damaged item for FREE. Please repack the item in the original packaging.

PLEASE BE AWARE: While the up most care is taken when delivering each and every item. It is the responsibility of you the customer to make sure walls and flooring are adequately protected/covered at the time of delivery. Raspys Furniture.com and associated delivery partners accept no responsibility to damaged caused to your property as a result of your furniture being delivered.

How do I return an item I ordered online?

As long as the item is unused, in the original packaging and in a resalable condition, you can return the item on the condition raspysfurniture.com are contacted within 7 days. A collection charge of £39 will be made on all returns.

When do I receive my refund when I’ve returned an item?

Please give us at least 2 weeks to process your refund once we've received your goods. The refund will be credited to the payment card account.

What do I need to know about owning wooden furniture?

Wooden furniture has variations in grain, pattern colour and texture that make each piece as unique as your fingerprint. It is a natural, organic material and continues to react to its environment long after it has been harvested from the living tree.

Wood will exhibit variations in colour, grain pattern and tone within individual pieces of furniture and between different items of furniture from the same range. This is not a fault but a natural characteristic of the material. Wood will also change colour as it ages. Again this is not a fault but part of the inherent characteristics of the material.

It is not unusual for wooden furniture to crack or split as the timber settles; this happens more frequently with waxed furniture and is completely normal. If you are concerned that the split may be excessive (more than 2 or 3mm wide, for example) then please send us photographs. Wooden furniture will also swell in damp conditions and shrink in hot, dry conditions. Please do not subject your wooden furniture to areas which attract strong sunlight and heat such as conservatories.

Waxed furniture requires regular wax treatments to preserve its appearance. The wax is merely a coating on bare wood, and as such the wood will exhibit shiny marks where the wax may have been rubbed. This is natural and unavoidable. No wooden product is entirely stain or heat resistant, although a lacquered product offers slightly greater protection. Avoid spilling liquids (including toiletries or beauty products), or placing drinks directly onto the furniture.
